Animated from the films of the Oscar-winning father of cinema
Harold Lloyd was a comedic genius and one of the most influential and successful filmmakers of early cinema. He was a pioneer in the use of thrill sequences, daredevil physical feats, innovative camera angles, color in film and 3D photography. These tremendous accomplishments, along with the universal appeal of his stories, make Harold Lloyd and his antics a natural for animation.
Aniventure has announced that it is collaborating with Suzanne Lloyd, granddaughter of Harold Lloyd and the owner of his film library, on animated adaptations.
A love letter to the past, present and future of filmmaking, Harold Lloyd is a wild cinematic extravaganza unlike any other.
In association with Sue Lloyd and Harold Lloyd Entertainment, Inc.
“Today’s films and filmmakers stand on the shoulders of Harold Lloyd with his innovations and unparalleled sense of story, camera and comedy,” said Dave Rosenbaum, Cinesite’s chief creative officer, who will develop the adaptations with Eamonn Butler, Cinesite’s Global director of animation, and Suzanne Lloyd, granddaughter of Harold Lloyd and the owner of his film library.
